Pilates Mat Classes provide a strong foundation for your Pilates practice. Using a mat and various props, the Pilates principles will be emphasized to help you strengthen your core, increase your flexibility, and improve your posture and alignment. These mixed-level classes are appropriate for all levels and provide plenty of variety and challenge for the beginner to the more advanced practitioner. You will occasionally notice variations of our Pilates Mat classes on the schedule. For example, Traditional Mat Work is a class for all levels, deeply rooted in the original principles of the methodology. Advanced Mat class is recommended for experienced practitioners, and will involve more weight bearing exercises and faster paced movement.
Mat classes hold 14 people, and while walk-ins are welcome, pre-registration is recommended.
Equipment Classes are taught on some of the most popular and effective Pilates apparatuses; Reformer, Tower, Chair, and Jumpboard. Each workout is unique and our small class sizes (3 person max.) will provide you with the opportunity to receive individualized feedback and instruction while also enjoying the camaraderie of a group class.
For safety purposes, we recommend a private session prior to taking a group Equipment class. Please contact us with questions.
